I miss my monte

Post by racer12306 » Tue Sep 04, 2007 12:25 am

I had a chance to fire up my monte today. After giving it a little charge and topping off the coolant and power steering. After it was running for a few minutes it idled like a champ. It even chirps second still.

Took a few pics. The car hasn't been washed in over 3 years, so excuse the nastyness on it.

I ran a 15.39 with a shift kit, 3.89 gears, K&N filter and a chip.

Its not super fast but it has some good power. I wish I could drive it everyday now, but it needs some work.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

it wasnt movable for the first year and a half due to a broken shifter cable and then since i have been living an hour away from it i haven't had a chance too. this was the first time i started it all year.
