CF isn't expensive. It's only like 25 a yard and resin is only 15 bucks. And you can make way more than one gas door.

So explain to me why it costs so much from everywhere?

Also, how hard is it to make it look professional? If so, make me a stock shaped dash in CF, heh.

It's not hard to make it come out nice. It's just time consuming. To make your dash I'd have to yank out mine. And even then it's not that big of a weight reduction. The dash is like 2 pieces. You made no sense. Which part of the dash, the top half or the bottom?

id pay 66 bucks for a c/f gas door. simply cause i dont want to take the time to learn how to lay c/f. with material wasted that you messed up on, youd probably spend more then 66 bucks.

yeah part of the price of CF stuff is demand, everyone wants CF accesories, however the process of learning to lay CF, and the time it takes to make each peice is worth something as well. I dont think $66 for a gas door is expensive, I do think a CF trunklid for $550 is way too high, when a fiberglass one is around $200, a CF hood at $500 is too high as well. just my .02, I'll wait for the ricers to find something other than CF before buying any.
