I bought the last 2gn OEM CF hood.

They were kind of shady about it though. Saying that it may or may not have problems, and it may or may not be 2 pieces of carbon...
so we'll see what it gets here.

Ack! It looks like the old RD hoods that Modern sold. If it is then the quality sucks and it'll fog up on you. I had two OEM RD hoods and both fogged up. Someone else had their racing hood style and they said the same thing but then I think Danny had one and it lasted for a good while but I think his started to fog up too

Like I said, if it's the same as the RD and either RD or Erebuni stuck their name on it.

I have every intention on getting it re-cleared when my car goes into paint.

My understanding, is nearly every CF hood out there has problems. (Minus Kaminari)

The second one I bought I had recleared and it fogged up faster tha the first one

It started to fog within the first month I had it.

called them up. they wanted to sell my hood to you, and since everything was THIS damn shady, i cancelled my order. There were just to many signs saying not to get this, so i said screw it basically.

fogging isn't in the clear, its int he resin. if they put too much hardener in or one that doesn't have the correct uv additives it'll fog up like a bitch from uv light.

FWIW i've never seen a seibon or factory ten fog up hehe.

yeah, it has to be the resin since we wet sanded that thing at the body shop for a good while and it wasn't coming out. Over time it got worse and worse. Some areas would be fine then other areas it was so bad it was hard to see through it and see the weave at some angles.
