same thing used in the saturn ion redline. I belive we can get more out of this than they are showing. The specs that i have read show it runs at eatons original spec of 12psi. Theres gotta be a way to get more than that.

about giving the srt a run for its money, not true. Ray from rev it up motorsports has both an srt and a cobalt ss. He has raced a stock srt and stock cobalt with others taking the gun alternating cars(i think his wife). The srt beats it hands down. He does however say that the cobalt SS has a much smoother ride and would definetely be his choice for daily driving. This was the same conclusion that was given in a recent magazine too.

We'll, we finally made it over here. I will check into becoming a vendor and what all we need to do to become one. YES we are working with Casketbearer to come up with a supercharger intake that you can bolt on. It will have similar features of our race intakes. I'll try to help keep you all abreast as to the progress. It will take some time as we machine them from solid billet aluminum, but it will be worth the wait. I am positive they will make more power than the stock "Cobalt SS." But we'll have to wait and see how we do on some dyno time once it's all up and running. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I'll answer as best I can.

The goal will be as close to stock SRT4 as possible. We'll have to see, I'm not too comfortable pushing a stock internal motor past 230hp levels. I'm sure it can be done, but I have to factor in it being reliable too. There will be a throttle body adapter with it as well and I would suggest using a bigger one from a mini van or Jeep liberty with the 2.4 or 2.7, I can't remember off the top of my head which is 60mm.

A complete kit? I think there intention is a one piece intake manifold, machined from one piece of solid billet aluminum.

It will depend, the intake will include a fuel rail, and the adapter for the throttle body. If extra brackets are needed, then they will be included. It will be a "kit" minus the supercharger. Once we have one made, then it will be able to be adapted to the M45 or M90, but since the first one will be based off a M62, that will be the base model. I am not sure what hp levels the M62 will support. Were still researching that.

I can see that it will also have to be made so that one will be for a sohc and one for a dohc. Since it's a positive displacement type supercharger, runner length won't be as critical as for an n/a application. I've printed off the schematics that Casketbearer posted earlier here. It won't be impossible to do, but not a walk in the park either since for a dohc, the water neck will have to be milled into it as well like on our turbo intakes. As soon as I get the supercharger in, I'll post pics of the progress or send them to evilcreations and have Josh post them. I am not sure of your experience with others that have tried to build you things in the past, it sounds like you have been let down. The one thing with us is this, were enthusiast just like you. Only thing is we happen to be a machinist and have the equipment to build what we want. Our goal is to build quality parts that are VERY affordable. We want you to come back again and again. It may take some trial and error, but it will get done. If the factory could do it, then we will too. And hopefully have a full line so that even people with a 2.4 swap could do it also.
