Did you have a good experience with someone on here buying or selling something to them, maybe you had a bad experience where they didn't pay up or ship an item. Let everyone know in here.

Ripped Off on this forum by TwistedTunerz -buyer beware !!!

Post by latief » Wed Jan 30, 2008 11:58 am

This was really the transaction form hell....

I bought a cluster from him on Nov 24th -premium price of $55 since i wanted something with specific millage , got it December 22 (after a Whole damn month) due to "multiple shipping issues and broken promises". the cluster was supposed to have a 120,000 miles -ish on it, it came with 135,000 miles.
so i told him i had not use for it, and he said that 120,000 ish is anywhere between 120,000 -135,000 miles, fucking kidding me ..then he tried to convince me to take it to the dealer to reflash it, and he swore that it will work fine since he is a super duper dodge tech....!!!! so after a couple of pms and emails, he said ok for a return and refund, and only after i "the idiot" agreed to take $10 off from the refund for his troubles. so a ship it back to him on my expense (fedex ground track-able )although it is his fault to start with, i shipped it January 2nd, it was at his door step on January 7th....

Today is January 30th, and no fuckin refund, he says he has been traveling on business, and cannot refund me untill he verifies the package contents..... yeh, sure..... absolute ripp-off and a waste of my time, money and energy since day one.... by far my worst transaction ever on this forum, and i am down $55 + $10 shipping back for nothing...... this kind of behavior does not belong on this forum...... or any other forum for that matter and should not be tolerated by the admin. please ban him.......

everyone beware.....

1st off you didnt wait a month for it period.....and I told you before you even sent payment CLUSTER HAS BETWEEN 130-135ish...dont know exact since its been out of the car for almost a year....then you had it for like 2-3 weeks before you said anything about the miles and I told you to get it reflashed your flipped about that and yeah and your words of a "super dupper dodge tech " means I"m a dodge service tech...I WORK ON YOUR BROKEN CAR WHEN YOU BRING IT TO THE DEALER.....and you told me your dodge dealer said they dont flash clusters period thats when I told you I was a tech and then two days later your story changed to they only do it if you buy a cluster from them.....NOT TRUE THATS AGAINST THE LAW...odomiter fraud is a serious thing all dealers are required to PERIOD...then next thing I know you claim its being sent back and I owe you money on something that you knew the history of and you bought as is.....and ........and for the record out of all my forum sales on here, the big org, midwestneons, mnneons.net and org, ebay, and every other place this is my ONLY "bad sale" or "ripped off customer" or anything so ok man.....admin has been contacted on this and by the way thanks for the daily pm's full of your cursing and claiming I dont know anything until you find out my job then tell me I'm telling lies..and then you find out what I do and stop .....nice seller your by far the worst I've EVER DELT WITH>>>>PERIOD

OK so where is my refund?

Wether i flash or don't flash my cluster is non of your buisness, even if i commit odometer fraud, it is also non of your buisness, i asked for an item with a spicific description, and you sent an item with a different discription, your worried about fraud, DON'T SELL IT.....and i am not going to pay a fortune to get something reflashed (my dealer only reflashes new ones, i asked them).....and it is not up to you to tell me to go spend money for your mistake....

as for cursing, or calling you names that is a big fat lie, and i have not done that once, i simply like to stay in the know about what is happening when i TRUST a complete stranger with my money, and he gives me stories like my assistant forgot to ship it, or forgot it in her trunk for a week, i have a RIGHT to email you every day and PM you once something is not going as supposed to..... i warned you, i pmed last week and said that i will give you negative feedback sunday, i even waited a few days after that till i saw that you logged on and saw my messages...... you did not care, did not even reply to my email(s)......

Not to be a dick... but i'm not sure yet as to what kind of feedback i will leave.. FedEx shows the package being delivered.

I will have to wait to go home to check it out. The first time we dealt with each other, everything went fine. but this time it took a month and a half to get it.

this man has gone far beyond the millage issue, once he gives me his return address, and agrees for me to ship back, he should honor his side of the deal......

2k1MotorSport if your confused on what kind of feedback to leave you can say the it was neutral (wasnt good nor bad). Just make sure the feed back that you leave is honest.

Also, please base it on your experiences only, not others. If you were unhappy with YOUR experience say so, don't just say you weren't b/c of someone else. It's not very fair if you were fine with how it went if you did not know about the current situation.

Feedback for TwistedTunerz
My position: buyer

I'd give him a +0.5 or a B+

The item was exactly as described (rear disc brake swap). I waited a VERY long time for it (almost 2 months), however, he did credit me back $25 because it was late. He conducted himself honorably and I really think he's a good guy, just a bit busy and disorganized.

Buyer
Score: -1

I sent money through paypal for a pair of taillights, asked for the tracking number, never got it. A week goes on, he doesn't answer PMs or show any effort to come in contact with me about my recent purchase.

Now it is the 27th, almost two weeks, he said that he shipped the tails 12 days ago. It does not take 12 days for a package to come from Minnesota to North Carolina. Without contact from him and not knowing him personally, I get cold feet as I have no trust that the taillights were even sent. After no contact after 6 days I filed a dispute with paypal and requested my money back today. Literally 10 minutes after, I get a PM from him saying that they are in NC but he told Fedex to ship them back to him at 9:30 at night. Thats questionable. I don't know what to believe. But i guess I never will since he doesn't know how to communicate with any of his buyers. I am not at all pleased with the transaction or his lack of communication with his buyers. I better get my money back also.

if you would have checked my log in history you would have seen i check this site rarely plus it was a holiday and before that i was in omaha for work, regardless you asked for the tracking number the day you sent payment didnt even go out yet. tail lights went out then at work yesterday i was checking email paypal etc see that you canceled payment then i tracked it on fedex and called the holding station and had them pull the box from the truck and paid to have shipped back here then when i got home i pm'd you back not 10 minutes after it was minimum few hours, the tails were going to be on your door step today now they are in ky, will be on my door step within 48 hours, maybe before you cancel payment and you only sent one pm and that was AFTER you CANCELED payment you should actually email be since you have sent me 3 other e-mails to my actual email.....PAYMENT REFUNDED this seems like a case of the pot calling the kettle black .....if you expect good communication you must also make good communication, ex- more then one pm, other source of e-mail since in anything you sell has to have pm and email plus you have it from paypal the second you send payment....one reason i dont check this site much....everyone expects everything but wont put out anything.......and not to be a dick but in reply to your last pm about my loss....no your loss next time dont cancel payment then wonder why the seller ships stuff back asap then not understand why the seller wont resell the item to you. PLUS why would you cancel payment due to me not replying to a message you sent after you already canceled payment AND IT WAS OVER A HOLIDAY....not my fault i took advantage of a 4 day weekend. no offence to admin but your site keeps going downhill since i joined in 2004

I did not have any confirmation that the taillighths had even been sent! I sent more than one PM, they just were never answered "oh, its on my desk, ill find it for you" and not getting one even a week later doesnt really count as much of a reply my friend.

I sent you an e-mail on the 24th asking for an update on the tracking number, maybe you didnt get it, who knows.

About trying to buy them back from you, I was trying to uphold peace as obviously there was a miscommunication on behalf of both of us. Dont make it out like its all my fault because you arent a perfect seller by far. A little courtesy would have been nice saying that I was trusting a complete stranger with my money and the goods had not arrived in what should have been a 4-5 day MAX shipping time. I was not very trusting in you, so i canceled my payment. Thank you for the refund, at least you handled that well *sarcasm*

And if the site is "going downhill" how about change rarely checking this site to never.

Agreed. You both have had a chance to post your concerns to each other in this thread and they can/should be seen by others. Any more communication should be limited to PM's.
