i might need a custom tailored carpet. Do you think they would leave the excess on & not trim it?? & do you think they may not cut the hole in the center for the console & shit??

I would get ahold of Auto Custom Carpets, Inc. (www.accmats.com)...I work at an upholstery shop, and I asked my boss awhile ago about the same thing, and he said that ACC is a great place for carpeting needs, so get ahold of them and see what they can do for ya!

*EDIT* I just checked and the says they don't have it for 2001-2005, but they have it for 2000....but say 2-4 door, so they're probably still meaning 1st gen. Give 'em a call regardless and see if they can hook ya up with something. Wudda ya got to lose?

When they list 2000, they say it's for a 2 or 4 door...2nd gen Neons never came in a 2-door, so they must have gotten something mixed up. Either way, call them and ask about it. I'm sure they can tell you what you want to know. Good luck!

Just refurbish your stock carpet. Washed mine and dyed it. Brand new!

ACC leaves quite a bit of excess around the edges so you can trim it to your liking. you also have to make the cuts for the center console and whatnot.

everything he said,

and the carpet is the same for 1st gen and 2gns from this place because they leave so much access on the carpet its not even funny and they dont cut the center out or the holes for the seats so you can make it as custome as you like. real good qualty by the way.
