Thinking of 2002 bumper....

I like the look of the older style bumper, such as the one z3roneo has on his car:

Is this just the r/t model style bumper or what? I'm guessing the srt hood clearly fits perfectly with this bumper?

do it... those bumpers look amazing... i went from an 01 to an 02 and i love it

yeah it's an 01 R/T or just an 02 (all 02 bumpers are the same)

Ya I really like the srt front too, but didn't want to look like every other srt out there, especially since I haven't done an engine swap yet or anything.

So that's the r/t bumper I posted right? I'm trying hard to find one.

well its an 01 R/T bumper or you can look for any 02 bumper (They are the same). I Got 1 from ebay... don't get the painted one like i did (bad paint job)

Nope its not the rt bumper... its an 02 bumper with a civic lip..

Don't know about the States, but here in Canada the 01-02 R/T bumpers are different from the Non-R/T models for both years.

no, rt/acr bumpers from both the us and canada have a lip and look like the 02 bumper. the 02 bumper (se, es, sxt) do not have the lip, like the one in your sig 2k1MS --- look in my garage and you will see what an 01-02 rt/acr bumper looks like

yeah but the lip can always be bought right? it's just a mopar lip kit... other than that the bumpers are the same, right?

Once i get my 02 R/T rear bumper from teamliviD i'm going to work on getting the full lip kit (if i can find one anymore since they don't make them)

So back to what i originally stated... apk2k6 should be able to get the 02 bumper that i posted a link to and just get the lip for it...

Nah... the rt lip can't be bought cuz its part of the bumper itself...

This is the R/t bumper... (Diablo bad ass neon) (Notice the lip on the bottom of the bumper...)

Now this is the 02 Non R/t Bumper... (Notice that is does have the lip on the bottom)

And no.. the mopar lip is total different than the rt lip...

You can if you modify the lip to fit the bumper... Anythings possible..

So it's probably hard to find an r/t bumper I'm guessing. I might as well just go the srt bumper route instead, but I need something different than this stock '03 bumper that I have.

I used a type-m (mugen) lip from a 99-00 civic... Look in my project log on how I did everything..
