Interior lights

Hi everybody!

I just bought 2000 yearmodel Neon and had my first problem with it.
Interior lightning is turning on during ride, especially when going through bumps or so. Then it goes off after a moment.
Have you had similar problems, and if you do how did you fix the problem? I haven't tried anything yet, but obviously it has got
something to do with door-switches...

I'm a newbie from Finland so excuse me if there's some
problems with my written english....

I have the same problem with my 2000. Eventually the light will come on and stay on. That's what mine did. I replaced the door switches and it didn't help. I have no idea what it could be now.

Did you push the switch with your finger to see if it's working right?

I removed one door jam switch at a time until the light went out when I closed the door. It was the passenger side rear door. I don't know why it wouldn't work , even with a new switch, but everything is great as long as I leave that switch out. Go figure....
