BC Coilovers vs 2002 ACR Struts
BC Coilovers vs 2002 ACR Struts
I’m currently running Stock 2002 ACR Struts and Stock 2004 SRT-4 Springs on 225-45-17 Falkens. I’m considering getting a set of BC Coilovers and wondering if anyone has experience in both. At full soft my struts are firm and wondering how the BC’s compare. How stiff are the BC’s at full soft? I'm not looking into lowering the car but would like to get the softness of stock RT struts at full soft.

A lot of people compare the BCs to pretty much like stock when not at hard. The lowest I've had them at was 16 clicks from hard and they felt pretty soft to me there
Never had them at full soft but I can imagine it'd be pretty close if not softer than stock maybe

there was a local autocrosser that had an 02 acr with the adjustable struts. he sent them to ground control who set them up with a linear based spring converted to coil-over. i can't remember the rates, but that car was the best handling car i've ever been in other than my old autox prepped 914.
ooh...there's a glimmer of the dream left!!!
oooo - i *miss* my 914/6!
I'd definately be interested to know what his spring rates were/are if you could find out~!

Just stick to fart cans, AEM stickers, and park benches bolted to your trunk lid for a little while while you learn the ropes, OK?
