Hey everyone, just wanted to take a few minutes out to give props!

I have been here for a few weeks now, and I must say this is by far one of the best neon boards I have ever seen. Kudos to those of you who started this and have made it what it is. And also to all of you great people I am meeting every day! I have been in this neon scene since '01. To give a little back story....

I started the original TN Chapter of Neon America, after growing to 82 members in 8 months, we branched off to create our own club called "TENNEON" for Tennessee Neon's. I was the President there for 2 years, and then after some person hardships decided to shut the club down. Well I am back, and happy to be back.

So in short (not really ) I wanted to say thanks to all for welcoming me and having such great attitudes. It's great to be here, and I look forward to hundreds of more post.

Welcome Jeremy... glad you enjoy the forum! I love hearing you guys say stuff like that, it makes me fell good that people are finding the site usefull. It makes me want to put more time into it to make it even better.

Welcome to the site (even though you seem to be a pretty regular person now)....

2GN.org was created on May 11, 2004 from an idea Daniel Kamerman (DannyBoy) had on another forum to stop the spread of misinformation about the second generation Neon. At that time I put the idea into reality by creating a forum on my home web server for second generation Neon owners to unite. For the first five days, the site took off by word of mouth.

The forum soon outgrew the bandwidth my home server was able handle, and I was forced to shut it down. Even after a mere five days of the site being up, so many people sent me....

I will second what he said. This board is pretty damn awesome. I mean I know alot about mechanics, but not about neons. So between this board and my friend ram50rocket...I have been learning quite a bit.

I just hope this board stays around for a nice long time 1 year is good but you could always go longer.

And a really quick prop to evil...one of these days that head liner will get done lol.

yeah i love this place too. I cant stand the org and i really hate srtforums with a passion. Most of the guys on those forums are so freaking arrogant, especially the guys at srtforums. They love to bash regular neons at every chance they get. These guys need to realise they too are driving neons.

And yeah guys, I sincerly think with the Membership group that is already here, and the continuing support and word of mouth (that even I am starting to spread) I think this will be the BEST board (already is) out there.

I would like to second the "ARROGANT" oppinion. That is what turned me off of forums...that is what made me start my own club! God bless normal supportive people. HAHAHA

im not a big fan of neons.org, seems everytime i post something up, theres at least one person that has a smart comment to make about it. plus theres just so much on there, sometimes its impossible to find what you want, esp when you want to buy something, or sell something.

foreal...I don't drive a neon, but when I didn't have a car and I was thinkin about gettin a neon, this is where I spent all my time. It was nice to have a board seperated from most of the show car neon people (no offense to you all) and have a board where most people seek perfromance out of their 2g Neons. I loved how there were people that were known for stuff. liek Diablo, with the cleanest 2gn I've ever seen; Louie the badass street racer dude w/ the quick ass all motor bolt on neon, n theneonkid dude who still modded and had fun w/ his neon despite the fact that it was ATX (hope you know what I mean, don't take it offensively). Theres probably many other people, but those three are the only ones that come to mind rite now.

Just wanna give props to Jason, and whoever made this site cuz I had a lot of fun here and learned a lot of stuff.

I'm with everyone else on this one....this site is great, you guys did a great job, keep up the good work....and i really get a kick out of the little feuds that go on.

as far as i know, its not boosted. I think he is planning on turbo. Kevin_GP also is currently buying parts to turbo his car.
