This is my co-workers twin turbo 440 Duster. He wasn't with me when I took these, or I would have got some underhood shots. After seeing this car a lot at work I had to take some photos and share it with everyone.

Motor is 452 cubic inch.
Twin Garret T04's.
Blow thru carb setup with custom headers.
Estimated Horsepower is 700.
Hasn't been ran at the track yet.

New tech merges with old tech....got to love it!
Now he needs to convert to an injected setup to have better fuel managment and he could easily extract 100hp more out of it. The blow through carb setup is crude at best. Thanks for the pics anyways, that car has to sound mean!

How "new tech" is a turbo setup?

Turbo setups were around in the late 50's early 60's. Hell there were supercharged GSS demons running around in hte early 70's.

While they existed superchargers were used a lot more then turbos in those days.

and up until rescent years a turbo'd V8 was not as common as it is now.....
I know there used to be old turbo v8's back in the day but the latest technology turbo's are far more superior than those back in the day.
