New skunk in the family!

It's not my new neon though, it's the girlfriends (pseudo-girlfriend actually) new car!

I seen on DNO that krat0s was selling his car, and I looked at her and bascially said either you buy it, or I will. Since she needed a car more than I needed another one, we went out to Dearborn Saturday and picked this bad boy up.

1998 Dodge Neon Highline (Purchased for $700)
103k miles
Auto
Cold Air (AWESOME A/C actually... pullys a bit loud)
Cd Player
Year old tires (with one new one!)

Only problems thus far, two small oil leaks. One at the valve cover and the other at rear main. Valve cover is an easy fix, rear main I'm not sure about. It shakes a bit at high speeds, I figure it just needs an alignment, and the paint is terrible and rusty. There's a new fender in the trunk though for the rusty ass fender.

The interior is CLEAN! There's a few minor flaws, but the carpet is clean as hell and is still has the original floor mats!

Plans so far are to rip off the hubcaps and paint the steelies, put the other fender on, fix the paint up as best as possible, re-spray the hood/roof/and truck.... and she wants to paint the whole thing pink.

We'll see.

I don't know a whole lot about cars, but that's why I'm here! Plus, as Josh said, I've been stalking around here for quite some time, so I'm already kinda familiar with some of you in a creepy way.

I promise I'm not as creepy as I seem though! ^_^ I can't promise to be an asset to this community or anything, but I hope to at least be pleasant to talk to and not let my stupid show too much when it comes to cars. I'm very much new at all this, so don't give me toooo much of a hard time.
