Want to get a CAI...
I bought a CAI on ebay for $25. It came with mounting brackets that were impossible to connect it to the car. It has ONE hole in it for a temp sensor, but is too big for it. I came with NO hose to attach to the engine. So I have been looking around on Ebay and found a CAI that would be suitable. So I went to the manufacturer's site and found this one:

My question is...How am I going to get the TB to NOT flop around in the breeze (if you know what I mean)? The picture does not indicate that it comes with a bracket for the TB.
Any advice, help, etc is appreciated. Also, if you find a better CAI post it.

On my ebay CAI the hole for the temp sensor was too big as well. I ended up going to advanced autoparts and finding a grommet that had the correct outside diameter, stuck it in the whole, and crammed the sensor in there.
You might want to oil up the filter if it isn't. This will help prevent moisture from getting in when it rains and such.

My concern is that the TB (throttle body) will just dangle. Is there a way to connect this to something?
Also, how do you keep water from getting into the filter, thus getting into the engine? My car is stock height, no lowering involved.

it was just one long piece i found at Home depot. I don't remember what section it was in though. I used a hacksaw to trim it to the right length. If you ask them for a thin piece of steel about 1in wide, 1/8in thick, and whatever length, then they should be able to point ya in the right direction.
Water shouldn't be too much of a problem, as long as you don't go swimming in 1.5ft deep puddles. There is a member here selling splash guards in the parts for sale forum right now, you may want to check that out for added protection.
