Ok, so the car runs....

....thanks to everyone on Sunday. Ive called the insurance company to get a quote, $75 a month WOOT!! I've called the dealership to make an appointment to get the brakes done, WOOT!! I just gotta get the rest of the interior in, clean up the engine bay and take it there. The turbo is installed, just not all the boost pipes due to the AMM manifold. Some of the pipes need to be re-made to work with the manifold. But I can drive it in "N/A" form so to speak......with no hood, lol. So, fingers crossed, I will be taking it for its first test drive in a few weeks.

That's awesome Joe, that's about how much I pay for my insurance. I wish I knew more about cars technically: I barely peeped a sound, lol.

The tar won't come off the bumper though. Just sand it down and it'll go away.

I'll be addressing the oil leaks this weekend and installing the power streering pump with the pulley (thank you dealership!!). I'll also be cleaning up the wiring throughout the car and then washing her. She'll go the dealership next week to get the brakes bled and a front end alignment. While its at the dealership I'll be at the DMV getting tags. So, aslong as the plans go well....I WILL BE DRIVING HER NEXT WEEK!!!!!

I got the two oil leaks fixed, installed the new oil preasure sending unit and got three coats of rattle can on the front bumper. My wiring job looks like hell and could use some professional help with it. I'll finish painting the front bumper tomorrow and start on the rear later in the week. I need to mount the battery box so the battery doesnt go flying every which way. I seem to have lost the box of 2" t-clamps I had bought. I have no idea where it went. Other then that its pretty much ready to go to the dealership. It might not make it this week, but very possible the following week. Oh, another thing, I cant find my title.....so I'm not sure if thats gonna be a problem for me to get the car taged again. I hope not. I did get to drive her yesterday........on jack stands. I started her and put it in 1st gear, gave some gas and the wheels moved, then shifted to second and the wheels continued to rotate. The car shakes real bad but I think its to the very loud exhaust and ultra firm motor mounts. I almost cought the wife in fire, I reved the engine and a huge fire ball came out of the tail pipe!!!! Anyways, I'll have an update in a few days.
