sup guys. I know there were some peeps here who had built some projectors for there neon. I think one dude was selling them. Anyhow, point is... I'm planning on making some... For my motorcycle! Yeah, so... I need some advice. Seems like I heard someone talking about the correct distance for the bulb to the lense, and some other crap like that.
I've got a set of crossfire headlights (dual projectors) that I am disassembling for the lenses and bulbs. So i need to know about where to start for a sinlge bike headlight.
Wow, what a mouth full. Sooo.. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks all

That looks pretty sharp!
But, I'm doin a bike headlight. So it shouldnt be as difficult fitting it together. It's just gonna be a regular motorcycle headlight can with the projector stuff installed. I just didnt know if there were specifics for the lense distance and everything.

It will be the same, projectors are long and you need to do alot of cutting of the stock reflector. Then you need a way to cover up all the cuts you made. The lense distance does not matter, I personally think it looks better with the lense set further back into the housing, more like stock. Some people put the projector right up close to the stock lense and it looks kind of goofy. But regardless, good luck, just forewarning you its alot of work.CA180 wrote:That looks pretty sharp!
