there are already markings on the back side of the lip that shows you the cut outs for the duel exits

An exacto knife will do the trick. Do it at a warm time between 68 and 80 degrees if possible. It will make it cut like butter. We used a knife on my buddys STi to install and trim his front bumper. Came out great. If you use a dremel, it will melt the plastic and it will look like shit. Good luck.

I miss my neon at times. She treated me well and taught me a lot about cars in general. I will always have a special place in my heart for these cars. Heres to the 2gn community.

I used a dremel with a disk to get a rough cut, and then I went in with drums and finished up with some fine grit sandpaper. Didn't melt anything.

Thats how I cut out my old bumper, rough cutting then using sanding drum on the dremel for the last few mm's...

i used a razor blade to rough cut, then sanded by hand with rough to fine grit paper. if you put more pressure on the inside of the lip and roll towards the outside (painted side), it won't mess the paint up. of course, where you cut it isn't going to be painted anymore, but i've never noticed it.

yea i think im just going to avoid the SRT-4 clone look and just have a conservative chrome exhaust tip coming from a flow master muffler.

I've got an '03 made in November '02 so I don't have the XMARKSTHESPOT on the front bumper. I winged it and left the backing on the adhesive because it sits funny and kind of juts out on the corners. Gonna take a Dremel to the back when I get time to put it on.
