Go back to stock. It's the highest flowing muffler you'll get.

power brings noise...to quiet the exhaust down you will have to lose some power because you are restricting the flow.

I actually heard from several mechanics that the RT muffler, although pretty free-flowing, is pretty restrictive when compared to cannon type and straight mufflers out there. One of the best mufflers you can get is a glasspack, mainly because it is straight, similar in width to the stock piping, but it will be loud as hell, which goes to verify what you said above.... power brings noise.

My car made almost 8 hp more going from stock exhaust (for the most part) to my 3" cutout ---- that is straight shot from the header to the outside world... no cat, no piping, no bends, no muffler, no resinators, nothing... and DAMN it is loud.

You want quiet and performance, you will not find it... I would either go back to stock or stick with what you have.

keep in mind on an na setup you need some pressure to build up in the piping to keep the exhaust working for you via scavenging as long as you can. Too much resistance=bad, not enough=just as bad.
