I bet if you'd have kept that stock resonator in there you would have no damage at all! Jk I went to town on mine with a hammer.

Oh god! That looks like it would have been really scary to go through. Glad to hear she's okay. Sad to hear about the car, though.

Ouch.

Glad to hear she's okay!
The airbags will probably total it in itself... but overall though it doesn't look half bad to fix it.

I feel bad for the flame red neons now. Hopefully it's salvageable.

Plus, I hope she went to the doctors to get checked out. It's always best to be safe!

If hers was totalled, just imagine what would have happened if I claimed my car!
I'm glad she's ok!!!!!
I'm surprised my air bags never deployed like hers, my damage was far worse...
Make sure you post this into the wrecked neon topic sticked here....

I'm surprised she didn't get blamed for street racing...she does have some fast looking graphics down the side and a big ass wing on the back after all and everyone knows that stickers + wing = street racer!
Glad shes ok though.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the bags went off according to the deceleration of our cars. Anyone else know?

if that were true then airbags wouldnt go off on cars that were stopped and got hit by another car.
also I'm pretty sure if your car is a write off then u could never get certified. it will always be on the title of the car.

The sensor (which is located under your centre console storage area) measures the sudden increase/decrease of speed, as well as sudden impact. (Don't hit it LoL)
As far as cars that are written off....There are some areas here in Canada (Quebec) and some states that allow you to fix a car, have it re-certified and it would be branded as "Rebuild"

Very true. My car has a rebuilt salvaged title. See the pic for what the previous owner's damage looked like. Though I've seen some cars that look like that that receive a scrap title. Those are not allowed to be driven on the road again. (Mostly due to structural damage.) I would say that your's would only be salvaged though.
