Longer wheel studs

Post by quicksilvr » Sun Jun 05, 2005 11:41 pm

Anyone know where i could find some wheels studs that are about .5" longer than stock? Right now i've got some that are the right length (from a heavy equipment supply store) but the shoulder is not large enough for them to seat properly. I was going to makes some bushings for each one, but it's gonna take too long, and be kinda iffy on the strengh side of things. Any help is awesome.

Did you ever find your studs?? Just curious, because any auto parts store will have them.

Actually they don't. I've checked with every major auto parts retailer in the area, and they don't carry anything longer than stock...that has the correct thread pitch and shoulder. I guess I'm shelling out the big bucks for the Boomba ones when I get my new wheels and spacers...
