engine stand bolts...

what size bolts do i need to hold my 04 block to the stand? im guessing about 3.5" long but im not sure on the bolt size. thinking it might be 3/8 but im not sure.

I am not sure of the size but they are metirc I would say about 8MM and I don't mean the wrench size, good luck we just took our off the stand tonight and it was a pain to get it on but we made it (it was a short block ) I had to remove one of the leg to put the head on now time to fight the trans

ive heard they were 12 x 1.75 x about 80mm not sure if i need 4 though

Floyd you might be closer tha me but get a lot of washers ? Mine hae two places that you can put the bolt though and if it is the smaller part you will need a lot of washers with mine I had to do that with two of them but we had some tubing that work with some big washers

yea after looking at the block im almost certain that they are 12mm's for the threaded ones and like 3/8 should work on the through holes... ill find out tomorrow then report back
