Rear Spoiler.

Post by popcornPIMPz » Thu Oct 04, 2007 2:11 pm

I just bought a rear spoiler off a guy that I do believe came off of a 2001 Dodge Neon. I was wondering if anyone knows the position on the trunk it is supposed to go, & what size nut/washers I need to fit the thread of the bolts.? Thanks.! :)

he didnt give you any bolts with it? there is no need for washers if you have the original bolts... try to get the bolts from him, and there is a write up-how too posted here ---->

just walk into auto zone or advanced auto or home depot with the spoiler and just start trying bolts and see what fits
it looks really ghetto but thats how me and my friends did it
it was actually pretty funny

^That's exactly what I did, except I went into Roush Hardware, they looked at me like I was odd. Haha! But I got it on now, thanks.!

also look into buying something to waterproof the seal between the trunk and the nut.(something so water doesn't leak in).

if you forget to do this, the next time you wash your car or it rains, you will have water in your trunk.

I forgot what I used with my SRT spoiler... it was a long time ago. I will look into it and edit my post when I find out.

I'll try to get some pics of it. Just a heads up, it doesn't match my car, it's like a blue-ish/geen color, but I did it on purpose, tryna be different. I'm have a decal that's the same color go down the side of my car and merge into my spoiler. Somethin' a little different, IDK. Lol
