Dropzone springs and KYB struts.Vernon wrote:Car looks very clean. What have you got for drop springs?
215/40 Falken Ziex 512 tires. They're almost done, and I'll be replacing them with a 215/45 tire....maybe the same Falken's, maybe some Toyo Proxes 4's.05srt4clone wrote:and what size tires on the rims

I'm going to leave the side moldings on, because I've concluded that overall, I like the accent they provide. I am going to take off all the emblems though. Most of them are peeling and faded, so they need to go. I might replace the "Dodge" ones on the doors only, and leave everything else off.Skyjerm82 wrote:Eddie wrote:ever thought of removing the side moldings ??quicksilvr wrote: let me know what you think...good or bad.![]()
Taking the side molding off was one of the best things i ever did. Although I can say the molding look nice with a few body kits out there. Still, I prefer them off.
Just my .02
I would like to remove mine but I'm afraid of any damages to the paint, or the ghost effect from them, so on mine they stayEddie wrote:ever thought of removing the side moldings ??quicksilvr wrote: let me know what you think...good or bad.![]()

I'm a little worried about the paint underneath also, but for a different reason. I took off my wing last week because I wanted to run wingless a bit and see how I liked it... Well, it only lasted about 5 minutes because the paint under the wing pedestals was full of tiny little bubbles. Didn't look easily repairable... Guess I have to keep the wing.Skyjerm82 wrote:As far as damage to paint, or ghosting....that super easy to take care of. Paint is super fine underneath them, cause they are just held on by 2 strips of adhesive. Once your pry up on them from one corner, just take them off. After that apply some 3M Adhesive Remover (bought from Wal-Mart for $3) and go to town. A car wash and some wax later....and it looks perfect!
This was just in-case you ever change your mind.
I see where your comming from. I don't know why that would happen to a spoiler. But the Pedestals for a spoiler should be held on different. With my 2000 Side Strips, there was actually a little bit of breathing room. A good way to tell is to open your driver door, and then look at the end of the Side Molding. If you see one strip of adhesive on the top, and then one on the bottom, I would'nt be worried. If you see one whole strip of adhesive....then maybe they should stay. I would stay with my stance and say that if there are 2 strips of adhesive you would be fine. But it's your decision.03sxt wrote:I'm a little worried about the paint underneath also, but for a different reason. Yeah, there's two strips of adhesive. I was getting ready to remove them the other day, but realized it was going to take an hour or so to complete the project and I was running low on time.Skyjerm82 wrote:I would stay with my stance and say that if there are 2 strips of adhesive you would be fine. Well good luck with it! And if you need any help just lemme know. Also, for me to carefully do it, and clean all the excess adhesive left on the doors off....it took me a few hours. I would say 2-4. Just remember to buy that remover, and have fun! Keep us informned on how things go.03sxt wrote:Yeah, there's two strips of adhesive. I still might give it a go.

Hey Casketbearer - Did you ever do this and if so, how did it work out?? Thanks!03sxt wrote:Let me know how this works for ya' by PM or in this thread. If you have luck, I might press mine by trying to 'buff the bubbles' under my wing pedestals.
