powder coating valve cover

powder coating valve cover

Does anyone know if they make a metal valve cover for the 2000 neon i wanna get the valve cover powder coated but its plastic?

Would these fit or no

I beleive Mancini has PC'd valve covers still.

And yes that valve cover in the ebay link will work. The main difference is the location of the PCV valve. You will need to reroute the hose, probably need new hose that is longer. A lot of the 2gn owners prefer the 1gn valve cover because the 2gn pcv valve is susceptible to sending oil into the intake manifold.

so id have to get a new hose for the pcv valve. Not a too hard project im guessing? And If i swap a 99 valve cover onto my 2000 which gasket would i use? a 99 or a 2000?

You can find powder coated valve covers a crap load of places. I purchased mine for 40 bucks shipped.

I bought a Silver one a few months ago from Mancini for $39.
They are out of the Red ones though.

Use the gasket set for the 1999. The 96-99 valve cover is an excellent upgrade for these engines because not only can you powdercoat it, it completely eliminates oil in the intake manifold (at least it did for me).
