honeycomb grill?

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

on an 03-05 sxt front has anybody removed the honeycomb grills and left open or replace with mesh ? if so can i see pics thanks

thanks im going to do it no but one thing hoe did u get the top center crosshair to stay when driving and not bending inwards?

it's been a while since i looked at the honeycomb insert, but when i was plannin on removing it, i recall thinking about cutting off the top piece with a dremel and reusing it. of course, you'll never be able to put the grill back in if you do that.

I made my own bracket using some metal 'plumbers tape' and a few screws. Its not nearly as effective as the hard plastic from the original grille, but it does the job and I havent had an issue with it. Even without a backet its not like the thing's gonna break or anything, maybe just a bit of flex at higher speeds.
