Black or red?

Post by Broken Glass » Tue Oct 16, 2007 10:19 pm

Well since im finally getting money to have my car re-painted after the accident, im faced with a choice. The hood, both fenders and bumper need to be painted. So i can eather have them painted gloss black, to make it a 2 tone look, or just go with the matching blaze red. Any ideas?

I miss my neon at times. She treated me well and taught me a lot about cars in general. I will always have a special place in my heart for these cars. Heres to the 2gn community.

Dude, same, if you go 2 toned with the front 1/2 black and the rest red... it will look like you picked the parts up at the yard. if you're going to paint it black, get the whole car done!

stay with all one color with what you want to do

I would agree with the same colour as it is.

If you were going to redo the whole care and go top half / bottom half two tone, that'd be cool, but otherwise, just do a nice clean repaint...

If you wanted some black incorporated into the theme you could always have it done similiar to the chargers.

But I think that's semi-gloss black. Would be extra for the masking and related labor tho.

Definitally keep it all one color unless you plan to keep it for the rest of your life. What you like might not be for everyone else and you will lose money on your personal investment in creativity.
