well i just bought a 2000 chrysler neon, silver in color, completely stock. i want to do some stuff to it but now spend an arm and a leg doing it being a university student and all. i was looking at a couple things like CAI and an exhaust for a lil bit of a sound and a friend told me ebay and i noticed that the CAI's are very very cheap which kinda worries me but i thought i would ask some people with expierence so here i am lol, i'm open to all ideas i want to do anything to my car visual or performance whatever got to start somewheres right lol

Ebay CAIs are fine as long as you have a K&N filter on it

you just have to watch out that you dont over spend.

ebay has become so commercial lately that you could easily pay MUCH more than an item is worth through the stores. plus watch out for bid wars.

i just sold a haynes manual for a 98-01 beetle. sold for $36 shipped, i was in shock. the person could have bought 2 from amazon for that price.

you pay $7 for the item, and then you pay like $25 to ship it. its not that big of a deal. they make the shipping high so they dont have to pay the fees associated with the listing. they still make their money and they only have to pay fees on the $7

you can always check out the parts-for-sale section on here, a lot of peeps here sell a lot of good stuff here with reasonable prices (especially extra parts if you are really in need of it)
