Something to keep in mind about MB Quart... it's nothing more than a rebadged Rockford Fosgate. If you are looking for intense sound quality, have a look at the CDT 07s, JL XR series, Boston Acoustic Z6, or OZ Audio Matrix line. Each of those are superb quality in sound. There are others you can find of equal quality. Just out of curiosity, which models of Infinitys and MB Quarts are you looking at?

One thing to look at with the Infinity components, the cheaper models (aka main line retail type) have a harsh silk dome kappa tweeter. The high end will sound hot (aka harsh) with some high hats or cheering crowds. With a good high end, you should be able to pick a screaming person out of a crowd focusing in on their voice or note the miniscule resonating hum of a cymbols decay.

Though, if you could care less about the quality of the sound, pick up some Audiobahns and be done with it. :D

Back in the day - Eclipse HU, PPI Art Series Amps, MB Quart components, and JL subs. That was 10 years ago.

Couldn't be happier with the deck! sounds great. I would love to get satelite radio but oh well. the components were the cheaper ones..but i'm thinkign now i might just get a single sub and call it good enough. i am missing the thump mostly, and dont want to add a lot of weight.
