Tire Size

Can anyone tell me if I can fit a 215-45-17 on a neon sxt? Was looking at tire prices on discount tire direct and it noted on there that this size tire

might not fit? Anyone???

yes it will according to other peoples posts on the forum. i have not used this size tire though.

if you search around you will find posts and they might tell you the offset of the wheel used.

the best size to use for OEM tire height is 215/40/17

i just got 215/40/17's and my index finger can barely fit between the tire and the pearch

Just a little more insurance for you if you want to get them... I've used 215/45's on SRT wheels several times. (40mm offset...if they were going to rub, they'd have rubbed with these wheels).

I've never heard of a single instance where 215/45R17's did not fit. If you have wheels with 35mm offset, they clear easily.
