rims. what to get, what to get...

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Rota slipstream FTW!

Bronze or polished would go good with blue IMO.

depends.

I personally think the simpler rims look the best. so a simple 5 spoke... 7 max rim's to me a HAWT. Color depends on the theme of the car all together.

Just keep in mind also,... and I have posted this before, and get both sides of the argument, some say yes, some say no... if you go with bigger wheels, you lose a little bit of that torq-y-ness when steppin on the gas from a dead start.... guess it depends on the weight of the wheel too... that's why some guys that use thier Neons for like autocross or road style racing, like to go with stock 15 inch alluminums

...but , if yer goin for looks only, I think you can go up to 18 inch

that's cool...just another tip...
from all that I have read, stock SRT 17's will NOT fit on a standard Neon without changing out the struts... the off-set or whatever will make them rub

It's the tire size, not the offset. If the struts are not swapped out with aftermarket or stock SRT ones that have the higher spring perch, then a smaller tire size will need to purchased (smaller than the stock SRT tire).

No debate about it. Bigger wheels have a greater moment of interta. Even if they are the same weight as a set of stock 15's and the overall tire diameter is the same, the car will be quicker with the 15's than with the 17's.
