I think UPS stole my fog lights.....

Post by zerocoolok » Tue Oct 30, 2007 10:10 pm

I ordered the fog lights on Sunday, I get the email that it was shipped today from Cardomain around 12:00pm. I just checked the tracking number and it says that it arrived at my front door at 6:24pm. It wasn't there or anywhere around my house. I was outside in the front yard at 6:24 btw and I didn't see any UPS guy at all. WTF! I'm just pissed because the Autozones and Oreilleys around here NEVER have any 899 fog lights in stock.

I emailed them from a form on their site, I know how this process works, as I work in tech support for a major web hosting company. What usually happens is when you email or go to the site and fill out the form it creates a ticket. This ticket is what proves that you have contacted them and lets their higher level support directly correspond with you, eliminating the middle man (the people that you would call over the phone). At least thats how it works where I work lol.

I sure as hell hope so lol. Usually the UPS lady comes around 4-5pm so it was an odd time anyhow. I'll bet what had happened was that they had to go home for the day so they cleared out the last packages out for delivery and are going to deliver them tomorrow.

I got my package today, was sitting at my door step. Still pisses me off that they lied about my package, what if it was a mission-critical item?

UPS is usually late with packages to my house, I think I'm the last stop on their route, but this has never happened to me before.

same thing happened to me today. i ordered an AGP intake last week, checked the tracking number last night, said it was delivered, so i thought cool, i'll pick it up from the peeps house tomorrow after work. it actually came this morning. very early. as in early enough for the ups guy to have woken up my mom. it's all good. what's 12 hours when you don't opt to pay for overnight.
