Paintball?

Anyone here into paintball? I just upgraded to a SP Ion with a few mods added and im hooked. I only got it shotting at 18bps but i think I can hang with all the Tippmann guys lol.
It will be changing at over the next week. I dont like all the mods that were done. Wanted to see what everyone else is shooting.

I played competatively a few years back, but I stopped because of the cost of practice. Here is the team I used to play for:

They are now a D3 Xball team, and when I was on the team we were a novice team. I was 1 of the original 5 players on that team, and now there are only 2 of the original still playing

Gerald, the Smart Parts Ion is a great marker! I have seen the Ion in person, and it is probably one of the best guns you can buy at that price! I know there are tons of different boards that you can run in the Ion, so I would take a look into those to optimize performance. Also, get a better hopper. Revy's just don't cut it any more with the markers high rate of fire. I would suggest a Halo or Empire Reloader. Are you running CO2 in the gun?! I would invest in a N2 tank so you can use compressed air or N2 and so you don't freeze your shit up!

If you need any more input or anything let me know. Also, if you need any equipment I have some still laying around(Ball Hauling Pack, N2 Tank, ICD BK0 gun, etc...). Let me know if you are interested.

Ya im looking into a Halo and a new board now. It is running CO2 but ive heard Nitro is the way to go I just dont have the cash yet to swap it. Let me know what you have laying around I may pick some shit up.

Fun game, I used to play semi-pro back in the day.

this is what i bring to the field when i get a chance to go. piranah evo. halo hopper, stiffi CF 16" barrel, dye 18" boomstick, spyder stock 8" barrel, pure energy expansion chamber, and java 3000 psi rated compressed air tank. oh and the stock expansion chamber just in case... that pure energy one is kinda used

i know it's no A5 like my brother has, but for some reason the "Tipmann guys" seem to always loose to the team i just happen to be on

I do have a Pure Energy Carbon Wrapped 68ci 3000psi pre-set N2 tank, but it is out of date and needs a pressure check. Basically you would have to take it to a scuba store and have them pressure check it. You would have to get the pressure check because no store would fill the tank because it is "out of date". Most tanks only have a three year spec on them, and after that you have to have the pressure check.

I am sure that there would be absolutely nothing wrong with the tank, but I will give you a hell of a price on it if you are interested!

I have a mask (JT Flex 7-Brown in color) that I would probably just give you if you wanted it.

Let me know what you are looking for in other equipment besides the tank!

Play speedball and take a bunker. That feels great! I was a front player so I was usually the first to get bunkered if it happened.

Ya I only play woods ball and all the guys are making fun of me for buying a speed ball gun. I just dont like 98 customs anymore.

all those guns in two years lol now i am out of the sport i lost intrest in it... i played for tippmann half a year then they moved the team so i started a team on my own and was doing great and i was indovidually sponsored then i got out and baught my neon and got into the car scene and never looked back.....great sport but the car scene is WAY BETTER and more bang for the buck..

awsome set up with the ion i loved those guns they were my fav to shoot other then the angels of course......to much of a drop for me though i was into the duckbill asa's.....

You mean the original Brass Eagle Talon that is Plastic!?!? I wanted to buy one of those years ago because it was so cheap! That gun is like a collectors item now
