If it was a bit more subtle. No Body kit, No Fur, none of that nasty stuff, then maybe..
I bet the body creaks like crazy.

Wow, just cuz it has crushed velvet makes it hispanic looking? I'm not hispanic, but that was kinda uncalled for IMO.

supertrick knows what i'm talking about when i say...
by making a unibody vehicle that wasn't a convertable into one you've just made a SUPER UNSAFE car. if you go out and compare a vehicle that has a convertable model and a non convertable model, the frames will be different. the A B and C pillars along with the roof provide a tremendous amount of stability in a non convertable car. if you take that away you weaken the car to the point that it MIGHT bend in half. you would need to provide the proper amount of support elsewhere

This would be the truth. This was Chrysler's biggest obstacle for the new Challenger. The original Challenger didn't have a B-pillar and they wanted to preserve that part of the car's heritage in the redesign. When the prototype came through and completely kicked ass, the one thing that they struggled with to make it production-suitable is strengthening the roof enough with just an A and C pillar. Not only for safety, but also to keep the car from becoming a pretzel when you whomp the gas with a 400+hp V8 in front of you. If you look at the picture of the new one (or the old one for that matter), you can see the big ass C pillar necessary to support it.

yeah Im hispanic also and did think it was a lil getto since the crush velvet is overated.. I would have gone with a different look for my taste, something different that would stand out.
and this car was on ebay about 1 year ago, even longer than that maybe 3 years ago.

Well who ever did it has to get some credit, that had to be a heck of a lot of work. Yeah I wouldn't mind it, though the interior would have to go and maybe it would look better done to a 2gn.
