Getting tint...PICTURES!

OKay I have decided to tint my windows. I am going with 5% all they way around. Anyone have any pictures of a silver neon with tint. Thanks.

Hope you don't planning on driving at night.

5% all the way around is pretty damn dark... Seriously. It might look cool, but I'm not too sure about 'functional'. I had 20% tint all the way around on my S-10 when I had it, and it was a little tricky to see out the windows at night.

In KCMO, the cops will eat you alive with that tint man........You could feasabley do 5% on the back doors and rear window, and do the front 2 doors 35%...that would keep you legal at least......I tinted windows for 2 1/2 years in KS, so I know their tint laws.........when I still lived out there, I got pulled over several times for my tint.......Front 2 35%, Back half 20%.........and that's 2 shades lighter than what you are wanting to put on your car......... Do what you want, but I'm just letting you know what's gonna happen........

Yeah my parents are cops. My dad actually helped my do the diy tint on my mazda truck with 5%. Noone ever gave me problems. Plus I will be moving on base in a few months and they don't care down there.

5% is way to dark for the front......i almost ran over some people on my stratus at night....don't do 5% in front, for real.

I agree, 5% is way too dark for the fronts. I cant see for shit backing up at night with my car. So of course I dont backup at night. But for the front, legality aside (I dont worry about cops either), but just for the sheer ability to have a car thats drivable at night.

But, heres the pics. 5% on the back 3, and 50% on the front windows (though, Id go 35% or even 25% if I had it to do over again.)

I'd go with 35% on the back 5 windows as well as a 35% banner on the front window. You won't really notice much difference from the inside and it will be easier to see at night. I used to have 5% on an older car and I think i smacked at least three people that way.

Oh yeah, if you get it professionally tinted, go talk to the guy at tintmasters. DAMN good tint professional... he put me out of business when I used to DIY in the back yard.

Tint looks real good man.......need to add the windshield strip, and you'll be good to go......must be nice havin parents that are cops.........I wish I could have my tint that dark......

what do you guys think of the colored windshield strip (red)?....too ricey?....i got it, but haven't put it on...my ride is black...comments?

5. I still say 35% (12% looks sweet though)

If you are talking about the Vinyl Windshield strip......if you had a red car, putting a red strip on there wouldn't be too bad......but putting a red one on another colored car is a bit rice IMO.
