yep, the gas peddle will work

but

if you have an ATX the brake peddle on the SRT has the clutch, so that wont fit. unless you want a dummy clutch peddle. or you can just remove the clutch peddle itself. i think

correct me if I'm wrong

Can someone post a pic of the SRT pedals please. I checked with my local Dodge Dealer and I can get em' ordered but they'll be like $80 bucks for the set. I want to see what they look like before I fork over my cash. Thanks.

There maybe a fit issue.

On the swap the Clutch pedal is necessary due to a different connection / clutch cable pull point (something like that). Check out the swap area to find out why the SRT pedals are needed and you'll get a clearer answer, which I think would affect your standard transmission.

I've been looking into getting some after market ones and they range from $30-90 depending on what your looking for.

Are we talking the complete pedal set-up here or just the pads that go onto the pedals. I'm talking about getting just the pads(if that's possible) to fit over my stock SXT pedals. Of course the gas pedal would have to be removed and replaced since it has a pin and spring that holds it on.

SRT-4 pedals in my cable clutched 00:

Image

Accelerator pedal is a straight swap, 4 bolts to the floor. For the brake and clutch, I swapped the covers. Have to cut about 1/4" of steel off of the bottom of stock pedals in order for the SRT pedals to fit corret over the stock steel, but other than that you're golden.

You can't swap the SRT pedal box over because of the clutch. WAAAYYY to much effort to modify a push pedal meant for a master cylinder to work with a pull pedal for a cable.

For 03's and up you can directly swap the pedal box because they both use hydraulic clutch setups.

Those pedals look awesome, I want a set. Now to just some up with the cash. I can cut off the bottom of the pedal easy with my dremel tool and you say the entire gas pedal is replaced so I won't have to pull the pin off of my stock pedal to replace it. Sweet, now I know what I want for Christmas.

IIRC 01+ had hydraulic clutch setups, meaning you can swap over the SRT-4 Pedal Box into 01 and 02 MTX's too. Unless something is funny with my 01 R/T, because it definitely has a hydraulic clutch setup.

Is there any difference in the pedal placement in the SRT-4? I kind of don't like my stock clutch placement, a bit too high.

At the very least the Gas pedal will bolt up with no modification. It's possible though, you might have to cut the actual steel part of your pedal to get the brake and clutch SRT-4 pedal covers to fit.
