A good book, but hard to read and you HAVE to know a lot about history is Love in the Time of Victoria, and another is a text book, but reads like a book is Europe: 1715-1919.1st gen troll wrote:Cite your sources. And I was not referring to the middle and upper classes specifically, nor western society.
I can't cite sources I admit, but I read a bunch of random shit, I wasn't just pulling it out of my ass. Educate me, I missed out on a lot by not being able to go to high school.
Why would you leave out entire classes of people, and why not compare it to western society, that is what we are as well???
My opinion in this matter does not -matter.
What happened to the kid sucks, granted. His future was ruined not by the parents however, but by his own choices. He knows that the law states 18, and he got caught. The problem here is that everyone wants to say that the parents of the girl is at fault, and the parents are the ones who ruined his life. But he made a choice, he got caught, he has to pay the price. The choice was always in his hands, no excuses, he needs to accept it.
That is my opinion. I am tired of society trying to push blame elsewhere, anywhere, everywhere - except themselves. I hate that more than anything, and that is what is wrong with people nowadays.
