If you don't know what to do, then I would suggest doing nothing, because you might regret what you did later on.

A *very* thorough detailing which involves mostly time and labour on your part. The cost should significantly under $500.

While doing that you will be inspecting every nook and cranky of the vehicle and may discover some issues as I did with mine. One of those issues on mine was a leaking CPS which was fixed by replacing the seal... cheap easy job. The cost here will vary depending on exactly what you discover.

While doing the detail you could also cleanup all your ground wire connections. I disconnected all my ground wires, sanded down to the bare metal underneath, applied a coating of dielectric grease and reassembled. No noticeable difference afterwards but I'm sure the system is working better.

you could do a rear brake disc conversion... I have all the parts you'd need except pads in my garage LOL.

He doesn't need to use it because he already has disc brakes. If the rotors are warped, it only costs another $32/each to get them from advance auto.

The detailing can be as in depth as you want. Hudson_Neon took a bunch of parts off of his engine to clean the, but it's not necessary.

Well, if you want to clean every nook and cranny... removing the engine is the way to go even if a little bit on the extreme side.

The cleaning of my engine bay is an ongoing project since the vehicle is a daily driver. Now that summer is over and winter is here in full swing the dirty-it-up cycle has started and will last until spring.

thanks, frank. The rotors need to be turned, and I said they may be warped because I never used them and can't say for certian that they aren't.

If they only need to be turned, then it should only be about $20 - $25 total. $30 max for both rotors.

As long as the major components work, the rotors and pads are the cheap part.
