Mercedes C230 Swap

is it possible to swap a mercedes c230 engine/transmission into a neon?

Yes I know they're RWD

I've heard mercedes looked at the SOHC for their compact cars before so im guessing the engines would be similiar in size...also..the cars are about the same size.

Almost anything is possible with enough time and money. Highly doubt that anyone has ever tried that sort of swap, at least not on here.

yea its expensive im sure they wouldnt...the transmission is $1500 so imagine wut the engine costs..I should check.

But that little mercedes engine is like the pinnacle of compact performance...im quite sure it has more power in it than any other available compact swap from honda to the srt4.

you should see what kind of power people are putting down with the SRT. There is even a special 400 whp club going on over on the SRT forums.
