'03+ R/T spoiler

Post by Wenuden » Mon Dec 03, 2007 11:14 pm

anyone know if this spoiler is a direct replacement for the SRT spoiler? it looks sick, and i'd love to have one, but don't want to have to plug/drill holes in my trunk or buy a whole new trunk lol. there's a guy up the street from me with a silver r/t that i'm tempted to ask about buying it from.

the 03+ r/t spoiler is the same as the sxt... which is a smaller version of the srt which both are direct replacements. now if your talking about the hammer head spoiler which is 01-02 r/t, then no. the holes will not match.

I've always thought the SRT spoiler looks like a handle that you can just grab hold of and carry your car with you. :D

What about the SE "surfboard"? Mine had that and I had it removed before painting the car.

I still have it in storage.
Drive it like you stole it, and work on it like you married it.

The main function of the SRT spoiler is so the tow truck has something to grab onto if your car is excessively lowered and you are in need of assistance. This is what Dodge meant when they described the SRT spoiler as "functional".

As for the hammerhead spoiler, I've always thought that they looked completely out of place. They don't match anything about the car at all. Best I've seen on the SRT-4 is the stock SXT spoiler. They had a couple at Carlisle and, side by side, the SXT spoiler looked much better than the stock SRT-4 spoiler, plus it's a direct bolt up.
