srt bumper on a 01..... with 01 headlights

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

alright so im comparing the front ends im thinking i can do it... but iwas wondering if anyone has ever tried it already....?


what i want to do is cut the srt bumper to fit my side markers and just fiberglass the gap around the headlight and bumper....

why is this in the engine section? anyway, yea it has been done before by at least a couple people. i know evilcreations is one of them.

Looks like a lot of work from those pictures. And not visually different enough to notice at a glance. But hey, if you manage to do it, take pics and post 'em.

The different-shaped light wells look moulded in that elec. blue car, not custom cut. Who's car is that?

im pretty handy i think it could be done fairly easy....

eh i still think i can pull it of f now i just have to find a decently priced srt bumper

Maybe you can do it the way evilcreations did, where it's just cut, but that electric blue one looks like someone cut and re-molded the bumper, and with urethane that is a lot of work for the pros much less an amateur.

:shock: The blue one is so sweet! Thats what I wanted to have done when I got the srt bumper but I was told to do it properly and mold the plastic would be very expensive. :(

hey i wonder what it would like like if sum1 mounted 00-02 headlights on an srt-D bumper
from the looks it wouldnt be any easier, and to go thru all that trouble id rather it on an srt4 bumper than the design, but i think it'd be interesting to see
