Here's one I did when I still had a turntable to add my own samples with. Also I started highjacking movie clips around then so 50 points to who can name the movie (staring one of my favorite comedians of all time)!
It's nothing special but it was the first of the "digital-edited-multi-samples-clips-programs-loops" songs I did on a computer. Before that it was all live recorded on a tape.
Nowadays EVERYTHING is digitaly beat-matched, FXed, looped and mixed (and on CD) so it's kinda nostalgic to me when I hear this one.

cool beans man! i'll check it out when i get back from work today. i use 2 stanton T60 tables, behringer DJX700 mixer, HP Laptop and Serato Scratch Live (Serato rocks!) and to record i use I-Mic from Apple.

My set-up was 2 Technic 1200s, Numark 3 channel mixer, Yamaha Triton Keyboard, Creative Labs Audigy2 soundboard with every interface you can think of, Cubasis Platinum ed., SoundForge 5, Acid Pro 4...for the most part.
Anywho I ran the mixer to an amp, then to the soundboard on the PC. All the editing and equalization was done from there with Cubasis and samples with SoundForge. Acid Pro was used mostly for loops and kicks.
I think my computer then was an Athlon 1.2gig with 1gig RAM which was top of the line, now it's somewhere on the bottom. But you don't need much for audio editing.

I guess most of the stuff I listed is antique by now but that's how us old guys did it!

^^^^^ tables? was that a cd mix? if ur just getting started then yeah, get used to it, pick of as much vintyl as possible and dive into it. i'm gonna have another DnB mix coming out maybe today or by next week. i just picked up 7Gb of DnB from Hospital records.

she did the mix using mixmeister fusion+vid, which i cant even figure out, i have that, i also have acid pro6 and FL studio, im trying to learn production, playing with song structure and transitions, producing is hard shit.. my buddy has got a studio in his house, with keyboards, full mixer, cdj's and laptop,, cubase, soundforge, acipd pro6 and mixmeister fusion+video and i think some other softwware.

just picked up the tables, mint numark direct drive with a basic mixer all cables and cartridges for 60$ to learn on..

Something I did in FL studio yesterday. I just jumped from version 4 to version 7 and I was basically just playing with the new synths. Hardly used the event editor at all.
