which are the good clear corners?

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Looking at clear corner lights on Ebay and there's a bunch of sellers, and from what I've seen looks like 2 or 3 different versions of the lights available.

Does anybody know which are the crappy kind that crack or leak, and which are the better quality ones?

1 Clear, but all textured on the inside, similiar to OEM, except clear plastic

Ex: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-01-02 ... 0006664515

2 Clear, textured on most of backside, with a completely clear non-textured round center

Ex: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-01-05 ... 0188789846

also: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-05-DO ... 0193200549

and these look a little different than the above 2:

3 Textured on most of backside, round center with different texture

#1 is like the stocker design except clear

#2 is what I bought, I usually don't like chrome things, but these seemed to match very well with the headlights, so it flows nicely

me and my brother both have silver neons, and i have the 2nd set, he has the 1st and his stand out alot more whereas mine match with the headlights and theyre almost more subtle, like they flow better
but i guess it depends on what color ur car is and what ur going for

side markers....

Corners are for hondas...

Depends on the color of the car. Mine's white, I went with the dark smoked lenses.

#1 ... i had those on my old 01 and i loved them. Not a fan of the 'rice' looking chrome

Just throw an amber bulb in there and it satisfied my states need for amber up front when they were on and they still were reflective enough to not get in trouble by the cops.

I former SRT owner I used to know bought some on ebay and they were fogging, plus looked like crap.

The ones on modernperformance.com are the best and don't fog up, APC is the brand too. :hide:

I'd love to get a set of the smoked ones, but the shipping price to canada on all of the ones on ebay is rediculous.

Do you have any pictures of these? I put smoked bulbs in my directionals and my car is silver, so the stock side markers are really all that's left to "blend in" with the rest of the front.

I have #1's and they look great. Only problems I had was that they both have a verticle crack in the center, and one of the lens seperated when I took it off when I installed my lip kit. A lil super glue, and holds up great again.

Those are the ones I put on mine (black neon) they are the same design as #2, but were ~ 44$ shipped. My OEM ones had issues, some idiot (previous owner) glued the driver side one on (broke the front clip) and the passenger side was cracked and leaking... I have no complaints with them and they look way better. No leaks or fogging issues.

Mine also. I gave them to my sister for her neon, the crack didn't create issues for me except occasionally I'd get a little water in it.

Are the #1's prone to breaking? I was a couple clicks away from buying them (different auction). I like them much better than the ones with the clear center.

They are still holding up great, besides that I personally broke one by being a lil "rough" on it when I was removing it. If you buy them just to install it once and don't mess with it anymore after that, it will be just fine.
