scan gauge
scan gauge
I'm looking into getting a OBD scan gauge for the SRT, just wondering what brands anyone has dealt with, pro's and con's of different brands. what i'm most interested in is one that includes a wideband, since i'm not a huge fan of triple pillar pods.
Thanks in advance for the feedback.

There was a company selling one on here in a group buy a few months back. I think the brand was scan gauge. People seemed pretty happy with it.
This setup came with a little turbo timer looking box that showed all of the displays.

Titan, Mox, you both have this, or do you just like it?
what i want, it doesn't do on it's own, it appears. with all the parameters it monitors, all it displays is o2 voltage, as far as what i'm most concerned with. i'm assuming they mean it doesn't display voltage in an A/F ratio. looks like i'd still have to buy a wideband sensor and connect it to one of the inputs, and manually set the voltage to AFR conversion. if either of you have this, and have a wideband attached, please let me know how difficult it was to set the unit up.

The narrowband sensor in the car from the factory just oscillates anyway. You can't get a real A/F ratio reading from a narrowband sensor.

I checked that one out, but I'm interested in a direct replacement for my boost gauge, which the aerodlight looks to be. It reads MAP, which will tell me boost/vacuum if I'm interested, but I've actually considered going with a dual gauge two readout linked setup, one strictly for AFR and boost, and the other for whatever I feel like, probably oil pressure and who knows about the other one.
Voltage maybe? I never payed much attention. I always have it on MPG and MPH. I'll look now (another reason to go drive it).

I saw the 2 analog inputs on their web site. Do you just wire up a widenand sensor to the input, or do you have to run a widenand gauge in series and it datalogs it? If I just need to wire a sensor, this is exactly what I want. I only want one gauge in the car.dysphagia wrote:the aeroforce is the gauge i roll, one of the best mods i have on the car, it also has two analog inputs of which i have one running a wideband, being able to log a/f vs rpm is a godsend
