fidanza clutches
fidanza clutches
i decided to try the fidanza clutches when i started my engine build. i thought i'd post my results here since i've got about 100 miles on the 4.3 fidanza. i've combined it with the fidanza aluminum flywheel. it works well. it was an easy swap from modular to non-modular. the 4.3 is a 6puck, but with a sprung hub. it's a little tight on release, but no chatter. i'm sure the sprung hub contributes to the smoothness. it's not perfect. the clutch is soft. i really think that has more to do with the hydraulic clutch actuation. i'm still not used to these hydraulic clutches. the 4.3 seems to be working well. it locks up well without any slippage and so far i can't be happier. i know that there are other clutches out there, but so far the fidanza gives good bang for the buck. a 4.3 and aluminum fw are about the same cost as a clutchmasters clutch alone. i recommend giving it a try based on the number of people i've seen that have had problems with clutchmasters and spec.
ooh...there's a glimmer of the dream left!!!

Do you know if you can use that Fidanza flywheel with a ClutchMasters clutch?
