my new daily driver

well i have always wanted a 01-02 acr but could never find one at the right time or close enough to me but i finally lucked out. after i sold the blue sxt swapped car to a guy on srtforums i needed something to drive until i can build the next project(TBD) and time/money allows. i bought this from a fellow .org member mele a couple of days ago. it is a 2001 stone white acr with 62,xxx miles and it has the convience group/package. the only real problem with it was that he lives in Missoula Montana and I live in Evansville, Indiana so logistics was a nightmare. i sourced a transport company and hoped it would show up in good shape and fortuantely everything worked out just great.

i plan on just daily driving the car and possibly some weekend auto crossing for fun when i can. mods are just a few cosmetic things (new shift knob, floor mats, etc.) lower the car a touch, new tires, and possibly a 22mm rear sway bar but i am not sure about that as the car is pretty balanced right now and i don't really want to mess with much until i get it lowered. overall i am very happy with the car and just want to keep it clean and not mess with it too much as i hate to ruin a "rare" neon like this by doing something that would detract from the true form this car should take. i don't have a whole lot of pics b/c as soon as i got done washing and waxing the car it got dark and began to POUR so i'll have to get more pics when i can wash it again.

anyway on with the pics... any comments or questions about the car are appreciated.

Great lookin car bud! I just hate how they didn't put the R/T skirts on them...kinda makes them look funny IMO. Some nice wheel/tire combo would make it look killer as well!

i agree. i almost bought a silver one before my blue sxt but they wouldn't budge on the price even $100 so i told them what to do with it

I want a white ACR as well, but red was next best option
