Ok guys, I wanna post this just to vent a little....not alot....just a little. Plus I feel you will all understand me (most of you at least).

I PMed Matt Wiggins, neons.org know it all, about the post over there titled "My Wanna Be Lambo". You see it had gotten so overly out of hand, with comments of degration and ignorance to say the least. Well in my PM to Mr. Wiggins I had stated that I believed that the Moderators who let this post go on for over 5 days, did not know how to do thier job, otherwise that post would have been taken care of.

Mr. Wiggins Replied back to me with this:

Most of us have lives outside of the forums, myself I'm doing alot more away from the computer. Had you made an effort to actually tell me about sooner, it may not have gone on as long as it has. Maybe you should think about letting us know quicker, instead of complaining. I dont check the boards more then once or twice a month, if that. Others have that intrest and I leave it to them to do so.

With that said, I will look at the thread in question.

You know the board is going bad, when ever the ''responsible'', ditch responsibility and try to put it on you. Oh well, hope you enjoyed the read....and thanks for letting me vent.

Can't have a little friendly discussion here? I figured with a new IP I might as well go see whats happening at all my old favorite spots.

Oh and for the record, note is the reason I got banned originally, so now that you understand he is an ass-fuck, things will be ok.

I just hope you act a little better over hear and take things a little more seriously and act a little more mature than over on the .org. As I've said before... I think you know your stuff, you just may not know or want to type your posts in the most respectable way as not to cause a big flame war that goes no where but to me locking the thread and goind strait down the road of me having to ban again... and again... and again. So if you would enlighten me... please... try to tone it down for me over here now that *you know who* is gone.

I've all but totally quit going to the org for three reasons:

1.) The post volume is WAY too high for a casual message board member. 5 pages of new posts every day! If I made a post in a thread, I'd have to go to my own profile and search on my own posts to check and see if there were any further replies, because the damn thing was too hard to find otherwise. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather visit a board with a slower pace. I guess I just can't keep up.

2.) The other reason was that it seemed like they only covered Second Gen cars because they had to. Seems a lot of times people acted like it was a totally different car, only carrying the neon badge. (Much like how a Cougar message board I used to go to would begrudginly allow members of the new FWD cougars on, even though most of the members drove 83-97 RWD cars). Not to mention the countless "Second Gens Suck" signatures and whatnot.

3.) Like in MANY other car forums I've visited, if someone comes in and asks a question that's been worn out (for example: "d00ds how hard iz it 2 put an SrT-4 moter in miy 95 base model neon lololololol teeehee") they tend to get defensive and "use the search feature" is a frequent reply. Not only that, but it seems a lot of questions are quickly dismissed to the FAQ or search.

Questions that have been asked 1000 times should be replied to with use the fucking search or check the faq, because its been asked a million times and lazy people should search. Can't expect to spoon feed people all their lives.

.org is only good for the occasionaly deals in the forsale section, other then that, you better dot your i's and cross your t's before hitting that submit button or you in for a flame fest..

Not too bad mouth, but holy crap! Barnett and I had our run in's over 2 years ago....and he could fall off the face of the earth and I would'nt care.

And just food for thought. Some boards ban people for being lazy.....and some boards ban people for being ignorant a-holes. Maybe the.org is right in the middle since they apparently do neither.

i think everyone has a run-in with wiggins at some point. he'll ignore flame fests and stuff like you encountered, and ban someone FOR THEIR SIGNATURE BEING 19 PIXELS TOO WIDE. Yeah, thats right.
