Without a doubt. That's why i was going to actually fix it my own self... then before my car got towed, the driver shined a flashlight down there and i seen the real damage. Realized it'd be out of my league, and went through this whole process.J-Villa wrote:the word insurance in america = rip off

2k on a 03 isn't that much. They might just fix it. Plus I kinda doubt they will pay for ANY aftermarket pieces unless it is covered on your plan. Why would they pay extra money for a nicer rim when they could just pay cheap money for a stock one. You decided to mod it so you are sorta stuck. I hope you do get it totaled but it isn't looking good homie.

Parts are ordered, my snowflakes are getting dropped off with the body shop sometime this week, should have the car back next weekend.
Random facts:
-$200 was given to me for the rim, $99 for the tire
-My insurance only estimated damage to the control arm and outer tie rod. (The inner is snapped in half!) Hence why they only gave my $980.55 for damages.
-The body shop has quoted slightly over $2,000 in damages now. They're even going to fix parts that may break in the future.
-Every single thing that has to do with the drivers side suspension is being replaced. I broke everything.
I'll be excited to get it back.... just to get ready to sell it come March or April.
One way or another I'm getting my damn SRT...

Welp, got the car back last night. It sure does look pretty with the painted snowflakes.
I couldn't be happier to have this thing back either. The suspension seems a bit stiffer now that it has good tires and a proper alignment.
i might just keep it a little longer....

Hahaha. You just can never make up your mind can you bro. Its amazing how you can be so frustrated with a car then fix something and you just fall in love with it again. I almost sold my car due to air ride issues. Soo frustrating. Then I got it fixed with new parts and I couldn't be happier. I never want to sell it.
Glad to hear it bro.
