...got an Edelbrock Perform RPM cam and lifters!
I ordered from Amazon. Found a great price ($16) on a K&N Drycharger for my new IceMan intake, and this shows up! I thought it was for my boss' 55 Chevy or something, but said it was addressed to me. Looked at the paperwork, and says "K&N Drycharger - $16.04"...guess I got a $16 cam and lifters!
Thing is, do I tell Amazon or the company that they shipped the wrong part, or do I keep it and sell it for profit? I'd like your input on this...I'm feeling really greedy right now

Yeah, I looked on Jegs and Summit to price it out, and Summit is a few bucks cheaper at $195

I'd check your credit card bill (or however you payed for it). Make sure they didn't charge you for it, even though you got an invoce.
I once ordered a $200 part, got a different $150 part in the mail, was charged $150 on my credit card, and the invoce stated $200 with correct part name.

Ah, good point...I'll check on that right away!
*Edit* They charged me $21 with shipping. Man, that's cheap! LOL

gotta be a dick here... Are you morally confused that you would even have to ask this question?
Call them, let them know what happened, and have them send a return label with your drycharger.
Karma is a motherfucker.

I'd say sell it, but for some strange reason I have a feeling it may bite you in the ARS, call them and have them send you an RMA with the part you actually ordered. You know for a fact the guy who actually payed for that part is already on the phone complaining....

i'm with you. Someone is bound to find out and this could nip you in the but for a part that you not only don't want but can't use. Send it back.

Use it in the Neon! It'll be freakin sweet!!!!1!!1!!!
Not. I'd contact Amazon and get the whole thing straitened out. Not worth the risk of screwing yourself over somehow just cause it looks like you could make $100.

keep it for at least a few months, and just see if amazon contacts you, if not, Keep it and sell it, If they do, tell em you've got it just sitting there, and that you will send it back when they send the RMA... don't see any way this could get you in trouble really.. if like 4 months go by, and they don't call, then unload it for some money.. because it is amazon.com afterall, and its not like they aern't ballllinnnn' lol.

Hell, companies get over on us consumers all the time, like someone said, karma is a bitch! If they are too dumb to realize a mistake that big they don't deserve the part back.
I'd have not blabbed it on the interweb and kept it for a few months and then sold it. I'm too poor to pass up free money.

I'm with Wenuden, that you even have to ask... I'd be pissed at Amazon and yeah, ask for your part to arrive WITH return label, AND have them credit you back for YOUR shipping (if there was any).
yeh do the right thing.
Drive it like you stole it, and work on it like you married it.
