Seems like everyone is having this problem lately. I'm probably going to be replacing my cam sensor ASAP. My CEL just kicked on again for the second time because of the 340 code.

Just take out your check engine light. Simple take out gauges and pull out bulb. That's what I did and haven't had a problem since.

i havent checked the timing belt but the car is running fine, so thats why im thinking the cam sensor? and i in the right direction?

If it's still running then it's definitely not the belt. But if you're getting close to 105,000 miles then it would be a good idea to get it done. check the connection and wires, if they are good then most likely the sensor. or the belt has skipped, but I think that's a different code.

ok thanks ill check out the connection if not ill just change the sensor nt to big of a deal, but yeah the car is pushing 110 km so its deffinatly due for on so i think ill just cahnge the belt and the sensor just to be on bthe safe side.. thanks alot guys and gals
