Nothing but trouble these days with the neon...

i've been noticing a weird wear pattern with my rear pass. side tire...i'm getting some cuffing on the tire so i took it to the tire shop today and he said you must have a bad strut, but the thing is that my strut is nice and solid (very firm actually), and my rear suspension is tight to my knowledge.....over all my cars's ride sucks........and it pulls to the right a little bit...

feedback is highly apreciated , really getting tired of this car... :banghead:

Try having a 4 wheel alinement done, that may get things back on track so to speak.

alignment

Post by BuBzSxT-4 » Wed Jan 09, 2008 7:01 pm

alignment is a big issue if camber is off then tire can wear on left or right side. if tire is underinflated it will wear on both outer edges if tire is overflated tire will wear only in middle remember these things, deffinately get an alignment and new tires if tires are worn badly. hope this helped you good luck

It could be various problems....
Did you hit anything with that wheel?
Could be bushings also....
Bad wheel bearing....
If you cant diagnose it yourself, take it to a reputable shop to have someone find out if there's a mechanical problem causing the premature wear...
