Make fun of me all you want, but Fall Out Boy gets me motivated.

None.

When I'm drag racing the radio is off, or there isn't even a radio in the car.

I don't street race.

Ditto, when I race I like to hear the music the engine is making. That way if something does start to go wrong I'll hear it and be able to pull over and hopefully avoid more serious problems.
When I'm at home I like Metal or Classic Rock generally.
?You know what the difference between me and you really is? You look out there and see a horde of evil, brain eating zombies. I look out there and see a target rich environment.?

i know yall will make fun of me for this...... at least those that realise where its from...

when i used to frequent the local 1/4 mile strip... what did it for me the most:

in the pit lanes: Dope - Debonaire

staging/racing: Saliva - Superstar

good hard guitar, good beat, just gets me pumped :)

*flame suit on*

as far as volume...i'm sure the techs at the staging lanes could probably faintly hear it........i know my car well enough to drag without hearing the motor and without watching the tach (at least, for when to shift)

Those are both badass songs. I love both of those songs. No flaming here. For me I like to crank my rap music(lil wayne, dem franchise boys)...kick my woofers on roll the windows down and blare it. God that is relaxing to me. Then roll up to a light with some ladies in the car next to me and all I hear is PSHHHHHH. THen I am on the ground. Then I get numbers. It works everytime.

used to be, when we raced our camaro's, mustangs, monte's and other SB chevy's/fords/mopars I always listened too Motley Crew's "Kick Start My Heart", or Primus' "Jerry Was a Racecar Driver" Yes I used to have a mullet, as did all my friends :D

When beating on my car, The Offspring - 'Ignition', or 'Bad Habit', I don't need competition for an excuse to drive fast.

Sublime when cruising 'April 26 1992', the LA riot song, also happens to be the day before my birthday.

I see invu is the only one with a good music taste here. (Minus metallica for me)

And I will add Emmure, Elysia, Through The Eyes of The Dead, As Blood Runs Black, Suicide Silence, White Chapel, Years Spent Cold.

Basically anything with breakdowns.
